“I love your products! My hair was starting to thin…
Your hair may have been hiding all winter but springtime is here! It’s time for a seasonal fresh start and a simple update to your hair. Change doesn’t have to be drastic. We know parting our hair differently can make all the difference in a style. Before you start rocking your free locks, check your ends. If the ends look-not-so-hot after styling (i.e. stringy or uneven), it may be time for a trim. Since everyone’s hair is different, some people may need a trim sooner or later than others. People who color their hair, for example, may need to trim more often than people who do not. How do you know when you are in need of a trim?
Trim if Your Ends Resemble Straw
The look and feel of your ends will tell you if it’s time for a snip. Before you see your stylist, make sure your ends are well moisturized with an Intensive Repair Hair Mask treatment. Deep conditioning treatments help keep the entire length of your hair smooth and manageable. If your strands look better after a moisture boost, hold off on the trip to the salon. If your ends still have a straw like appearance after deep conditioning, it might be a good time to book that appointment.
Trim if You Notice More Breakage
Another sign it may be time for a trim is increased breakage. Remember that shedding and breakage are not the same. Those pesky hairs of varying lengths on your shirt and bathroom counter are signs of breakage. It happens for many reasons, but the more common causes are dryness and damage. When hair is over processed or lacks proper nutrition, it becomes weak and breaks easily. Regular Cell Therapy® use helps strengthen your hair to reduce breakage. Since your hair becomes stronger, you will experience less breakage so your hair will retain its length!
There’s no time like the present to get hair for all seasons :-).
